Seed Testers

Testers receive free seeds from unreleased genetics before they go to public drop. The number of seeds per run depends on the strain and your tier level. Seeds are provided at no cost — you just grow them, document the run, and share your results with the community.

The seeds themselves are free. Shipping is also covered by us. Your only real investment is the time and effort to grow and document the run properly.

Not necessarily. We welcome growers of all experience levels — what matters more is your commitment to documenting the grow thoroughly and sharing honest feedback. That said, if you're a complete beginner, be upfront about it in your application so we can match you with appropriate genetics.

No — follower count is one factor but it's not the most important one. A grower with 200 followers who posts detailed, high-quality content is more valuable to us than someone with 10,000 followers who posts nothing. Quality and consistency beat reach every time.

From seed to harvest you're typically looking at 15+ weeks depending on the strain and your grow setup. We'll give you the expected flowering time for each test strain upfront so you can plan accordingly before committing to a run.

We expect regular updates throughout the grow — at minimum: germination, early veg, late veg, early flower, mid flower, and harvest. Photos are essential. Notes on growth patterns, smell, structure, and any issues you encounter are hugely valuable. A final harvest report with yield and smoke report is required to complete a run.

You can post in our private Facebook group, tag us on Instagram, or both. Posting publicly and tagging us helps the brand and helps your tier rating. If you prefer to keep things private, the Facebook group is the minimum requirement.

Things happen — pests, equipment failure, life getting in the way. Just communicate with us early. A documented failed run is still useful data. What we can't work with is silence. If you ghost a run without reaching out, it will affect your standing in the program.

No. Absolutely not. This is a hard rule and a dealbreaker. Test seeds are provided strictly for personal grow documentation. No cloning, no mothering, no passing cuttings to anyone. Violations will result in immediate removal from the program.

No. Test seeds are for your grow only. They are unreleased genetics and sharing them outside the program undermines the whole point of the test process. Keep them to yourself until you pop them.

Yes, as long as you can document each one properly and keep them separate and identifiable throughout the run. Don't commit to more than your setup can handle — a thorough run on one strain is better than a sloppy run on three.

Tier progression is based on a combination of: quality and consistency of your documentation, community engagement (posting, tagging, responding to comments), number of completed runs, and honest detailed feedback. We review tester standing periodically — you don't apply for a promotion, you earn it. Review period is approximately every 6-12 months.

T6 is our elite pre-release team — invite only. T6 testers get access to genetics before they're even announced publicly, have direct communication with the breeding team, and may be involved in naming or shaping future strains. It's the highest level of involvement we offer and it's earned, not applied for.

Yes. Inactivity, poor documentation, rule violations, or lack of communication can result in a tier demotion or removal from the program entirely. We want testers who are genuinely invested — not just collecting free seeds.

We aim to review all applications within 1–2 weeks. We read every one personally so it's not automated. If you haven't heard back after 2 weeks, feel free to follow up via our contact page.

You'll be contacted by email with next steps. We'll get you added to the private Facebook group, assign you a starting tier badge, and loop you in on the next available test run. We'll give you full strain info, expected timelines, and exactly what we're looking to learn from the grow.

Yes. Not being accepted right away doesn't mean never — it might just be timing, capacity, or we need more info. Wait at least [UPDATE: X weeks/months] before reapplying and give us more detail the second time around.
